Setting Up 2-Factor Authentication

1. Use Authenticator App for 2-Factor Authentication

1-1. Select Authenticator app and click CONTINUE.

1-2. Open your smartphone's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Search for and install Google Authenticator.

Note: You can use any other authenticator app of your choice.

1-3. Click CONTINUE.

1-4. Re-enter your password and click OK.

1-5. You will see a QR code.

1-6. Open Google Authenticator on your smartphone, click [+] button, and scan the QR code.

1-7. You will see a new CATO-VPN entry with a 6-digit code on your Google Authenticator.

1-8. Click CONTINUE and then OK to save configuration.

1-9. Go back to the original manual (one of the followings) and continue setting up Cato VPN Client.

2. Use Text Message (SMS) for 2-Factor Authentication

2-1. Select SMS and click CONTINUE.

2-2. Select country from drop-down, input your cell phone number and click SEND CODE.

2-3. You will receive a 4-digit verification code via text message (SMS).

2-4. Input the verification code and click VERIFY CODE.

2-5. Click OK to save configuration.

2-6. Go back to the original manual (one of the followings) and continue setting up Cato VPN Client.
